Fez 2012 Cheats

Flight mode

While playing the game in New Game + mode, press Up(3), Up + A.

New Game + mode

Successfully complete the game to unlock New Game + mode.

3D glasses (Stereoscopic mode)

Collect all 64 Cubes, then go through the Star Gate again in the 32 Cube room for the alternate ending. After the credits end, select the "New Game +" option at the main menu. Progress to where you originally obtained the Fez and sunglasses to instead get a pair of red and blue 3D glasses. They will enable Stereoscopic mode. To disable this mode, enter the "Settings" menu.

Sunglasses (first person view)

Start a game in New Game + mode, and progress to where you originally obtained the Fez to instead get a pair of sunglasses. Click the Left Analog-stick to switch to first person view.

Hidden Black Monolith text

Start a game in New Game + mode, and enable the "Flight mode" code when meeting the Hexahedron. You can move as it, and once exiting the screen from successfully completing the view rotation tutorial it provides, you will be taken to another screen with the Black Monolith in first-person. The text, translated, is:

Sum total (40 points): Find ALL collectibles.
Get a cube (10 points): Find your very first cube shard.
Kill screen (25 points): Get to the end.
Hexahedronaut (25 points): Collect all 32 Golden Cubes and 32 Anti-Cubes.
Haikus not epics (10 points): Find the Tome artifact.
Phrenologist (10 points): Find the Skull artifact.
Mightier than the sword (10 points): Find the Writing Cube artifact.

Fez Cheat Codes

1. Fly

   In New Game +, tap Up, Up, Up, Up+A at any point to fly.

Fez Unlockables

1. First Person View Sunglasses

   Complete the game and select New Game + from the main menu. When you reach the point in the story where you recieved the Fez on the first play through you will get a pair of sunglasses instead. These allow you to view the world in first person by pressing in the left analog stick.

2. Red/Blue 3D Glasses

   Collect all 64 Cubes and then go back through the Star Gate in the 32 Cube room for a different ending. After the credits, select New Game + one again from the main menu. When you reach the point in the story where you received the Fez and the Sunglasses the first two times you now get a pair of red/blue 3D glasses instead. These automatically enable Stereoscopic Mode, which can then be disabled in the Settings menu should you not want to use it.
